In 2007 Panerai released another Black Panerai. The Radiomir PAM 292. The PAM 292 belongs to Panerai's historic line. It uses a hand wound Panerai OP X movement, which is a Panerai movement. The movement produces 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a 55 hour power reserve. The watch is encased in a 45 mm case which has a 100m water resistance rating. The interesting about this watch is not its movement, but its finish. Unlike most black watches in the market, it does not use PVD. It is a ceramic coated watch. The ceramic used is Zirconium Oxide and it is molded from powder using a process of isocratic pressure instead of being cast. This time they have wisely made a relatively large run by Panerai standards for a unique edition in 2000 units.  At this low price point and stunning looks, every collector will want one, only this model has the 44 mm polished stainless steel case, tobacco dial and gold hands. Of course it is on a vintage style brown Nubuck strap,  Another esthetic feature is the "pig" or torpedo logo you will find engraved on the case back.  This is a base (simple) model with no extra features. Refreshing Memory some of the Vintage Panerai

Pam 21, 6152/1 Luminor watch,3646,Radiomir47 mm steel case with Rolex movement , 8-day Angelus cal. 240  movement with a larger power reserve was used in these watches. These are listed as reference “6152”, “6152/1”, and “6154”. Cases were still made by Rolex. *The first prototype watch using a 47mm Rolex case with a Rolex movement and a Rolex winding crown is called “2533”  Only one piece was made and it still exists today  using a “Radiomir” dial.
