New Xray conical clutch washer springs offer more consistent clutch operation for maximum punch.

When using the standard spring, after the clutch is set for the first time the spring becomes deformed over time and needs retightening. This new conical clutch washer spring set allows the clutch to retain its setting for a very long time without needing readjustment. .

Note: XRAY provides this new clutch washer spring set free of charge to all RX8 owners as an improvement part and is suggested to replace the original stock clutch spring with this new set. XRAY apologizes to customers for any troubles they could experience with the clutch setting and is confident the new clutch spring will be a significant improvement in performance and reliability of the clutch and satisfaction of the customers. All customers have to contact hobby shop where they have purchased their RX8 kits for free replacement.

To help drivers and customers to perform proper maintenance of pinion bearings and avoid failures we have made the tech tip that describes few easy steps that works for both the original 2-bearing & 3-bearing pinion designs.
